Hello, I’m Sarah, the illustrator and founder of Cavalla.

Cavalla began with a simple idea: to create a world where illustration, storytelling and thoughtful design come together.

Every collection starts as a hand-drawn illustration. From the first sketch to the finished artwork, each design is created with care before becoming part of homeware, clothing, gifts and books.

At the heart of Cavalla is Whispering Wilds, my world of illustrated stories. The characters and adventures don’t end on the final page—they continue throughout the collections, appearing across patterns, prints and products, allowing that world to grow beyond the books themselves.

I believe good design should feel timeless rather than trend-led. It’s about creating pieces with character and craftsmanship—whether you discover Cavalla through a storybook, a favourite set of pyjamas, or something special for your home.

Cavalla isn’t built around products. It’s built around a world, where every illustration has a story to tell, and every collection becomes another chapter.
